Get Connected

If you are a new Christian, I highly recommend finding a church that you like.  Find a church where the pastor has passion for what he believes.  Preferably, find a church that teaches the full gospel.  (see this page for more information on Full Gospel)  It is good to be around like minded people.  People who believe the one and only truth.  People who care for each other, and pray for each other and help each other out when we can.

Some people say they don't want to go to church because it's just a place filled with hypocrites.  Well - all I I can say is that we all are human.  But -it's sad to put down the entire concept of going to church because of the errors of man.  Jesus is the reason to go. He died for us to be able to dwell with him forever, giving us the promise of eternity.  He also died for our health, healing and deliverance here on this planet. It is a shame to condemn Him for our/mans shortcomings. Once we are born again, our spirit is brand new!  It does take time for our mind, will, emotions and flesh to be sanctified, to be made more holy and more like Jesus.  We are all works in progress.  Not one of us is perfect.  

So - with a humble heart - do try to seek out a church and makes some friends who you can walk your journey of salvation with.  Meet some people who can help you grow into the person who God imagined even before you were born.
