Words Have Power

One of the biggest lies we were told as a child was something like "sticks and stones will break your bones, but words will never hurt you."  Not only can words cause hurt and trauma, but, words actually have power.  God created the world with his words, and we are made in His image.  So - it is very important to speak life and truth.  It does take practice!  Also we typically speak what is in our hearts.  So - when you hear what you are saying, you may need to do some more reading and hearing of the Word to get your heart heading in the right direction.
